Routes and Campings
Areas of interest in Greece are too many to list. Most of our clients over the past 6 years have started their trip from our base on the island of Aegina (see www.aeginagreece.com) near Athens by ferry to the Peloponese.
Popular destinations on the Peloponese include Epidavros, Nafplio, Corinth, Argos, Leonidio, Monemvasia, the Mani. Not to miss is a winding road through mountains and national parks between Tripoli and Ancient Olympia.
Delphi is another popular destination on the mainland. Camping guides and maps are in each of our vehicles.
Trip reports are posted on the internet on a variety of sites. If you enter the keywords “camper trips Greece Peloponese” on your search engine you will find lots of information.

Campings are widely available. Accommodations and rates are comparable to other European countries. There are also camping/parking areas especially for campers. These are marked with a large P sign and often provide showers and toilets.
Many of our clients spend a significant number of nights not on campings but on beaches, bays or other favorite places. Due to the limited number of campers in Greece this is usually tolerated. The worst that has happened is that one is asked to move to another location further up.
